ESPN API [NOTICE] Username and password will be removed soon. You can access your private league using SWID and ESPN_S2. This package uses ESPN's Fantasy API to extract data from any public or private league for Fantasy Football and Basketball (Hockey and Baseball in development).
ESPN has an accessible, though undocumented, API for their Fantasy football database. This means you can query a question like “what was the score of the week 1 game between ABC and XYZ” directly with a GET request and some JSON fiddling, no web “scraping” required.
The API enables grabbing historical player projections, doing your own forecasts, automating player moves, in-season analysis of teams… But let’s start simple with simple game scores. Since you can do nothing to affect your opponent’s score in a typical fantasy format, there is typically lots of whining that “I had the second highest score this week but got matched up to the highest scorer!”

Soccer's API provides detailed Football data about leagues, teams, matches and individual players. Accurated stats, fixtures, match analysis, betting odds, standings, TV Stations and many more detailed information.
As far as I know, there's no API support at all from ESPN. I know you can find some of the urls buried in this repository but I'm assuming you've looked at that already. I'd love to see any more info on this.
