When you’re ready to play competitive tennis, USTA Junior Tournaments are a great way to get out on the court and test your game. You’ll have every opportunity to learn from the best, play against the best – and even make new friends along the way.
The Junior Novice Tournament Series is open to anyone desiring to get better through competition. As long as you can put a few balls in the court and make an occasional serve you’re ready to go and we’ll teach you the rest. Players can participate in as few as 1 tournament or all tournaments within the series.
Nissin Junior Novice Competition Rankings 2020 HOW IT WORKS NISSIN JUNIOR NOVICE RANKING Players are given rankings if they reach the round where points are available. In rankings a particular age group, only results of matches played in that age group will be considered. The rankings will be calculated on a tournament rollover system.
Tennis Tournament Rules. Each year the USTA publishes Friend at Court, a book that includes not only the USTA Regulations, but also the ITF Rules of Tennis and "The Code," the players’ guide for matches when officials are not present. It is highly recommended that each player or tennis family have a copy of this publication as a reference.
